its an everyday norm that everybody in this day and age are moving balls of anxiety, worries and dreams that they are working towards achieving, whether its that new business, relationship, move out of town, job , basically whatever it is.... however, we have to come to the consideration that it is also a fact that not everyone has learnt to deal with all that life has to throw at them in, meh, a way that is calm and delectableπŸ˜‰.

so essentially this are five basic attitudes to practice to achieve that peace of mind you need, in order to achieve greater heights;

  • change your perception: well, don't you think it'd be much better if you tried looking at that situation from all angles possible, with your emotions in place and you mind in tact. most times, when were caught up in a situation that shakes us to our core, we allow our emotions run out of place and blind what it really could've have been, and we keep running the race of "what if's?" which is bad honey! really bad! try looking at it different.

  • lower your expectations: haven't you noticed that most of the times you get hurt when situations go out of hand, it doesn't actually hurt because it did, it hurts most because you had actually envisioned the turnout to be different, something else entirely and when it does, you're bombarded with thinking, " i thought...", " i was hoping...", " well, i actually believed...". however, especially when it has to do with your dealings with other people lower you expectations, babe! because at the end of the day people are responsible for their own actions, you cant change that, but how you respond is all you.

  • be content: most people this day and age are overachievers, and so they try to do just that," over achieve" but we also fail to remember the old adage that says " too much of everything is bad" forget the exterior glam and bourgeois , everyone has trouble in their cupboard. we also are always pursuing something greater, "oh, i finally got that million dollar, i want ten now", " Becky, i got a boyfriend after so many years, i think its time to get married", and with all this turmoil of wanting more, more, more, more, we never really get to enjoy what is, because we keep worrying about what we think should be.

  • remember, its a journey: imagine this scenario; a woman took in today, gives birth the very next day and to make matters worse, its a fully grown man. well, that screams yikes!! to me. i don't know about you. anyways, you'd always have to keep in mind that everything is a process, if not, you'd run mad thinking, "would i ever achieve this, Pete".

  • drink lots of water and eat healthy: finally, there's actually nothing much to talk about down here. its obvious that we are most likely to feel good about ourselves when we feel good and look good. so try taking care of your self and others would too.

with so so much love.
